It’s a milk based sweet at heart. We cook down full cream milk into khoya, then mix in sugar, a bit of cream, and plenty of chopped pistachios. That’s really it. No shortcuts, no fillers.
We don’t use preservatives, so it’s best eaten within 90 days. Keep it somewhere cool and dry and it’ll hold up just fine, though most people don’t have it lying around that long anyway.
Yes. Like everything we make, Pista Burfi has no egg or gelatine in it, just dairy and nuts.
