2. Use of Our Website
You may use our Website to browse our menu, place orders, create an account, track orders, and submit enquiries for catering and events. You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Website by any third party. You must not misuse our Website by knowingly introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful material, or by attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
3. Account Registration
If you create a “My Account” profile on our Website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
4. Orders for Food & Sweets
All products displayed on our Website are subject to availability. We will confirm your order by email or other reasonable means; a confirmation does not guarantee availability of every item, and we will notify you promptly if any part of your order cannot be fulfilled, offering a substitute, partial refund, or full refund as appropriate. We aim to describe our products accurately, but slight variations in appearance, weight, or ingredients may occur due to the handmade nature of our sweets and food.
5. Third-Party Ordering Platforms
Our menu is also available through third-party platforms such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat. Orders placed through these platforms are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant platform, in addition to applicable consumer law. We are responsible for the preparation and quality of the food, but the ordering process, payment, and delivery logistics on these platforms are managed by the third-party provider.
6. Pricing & Payment
All prices on our Website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through our Website’s secure payment system, or as otherwise agreed for catering and event bookings.
7. Delivery & Collection
Delivery times and collection times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, or courier delays. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at the address and time provided, or arrange collection promptly, as we cannot be responsible for food quality once significant delays occur outside our control.
8. Allergens & Food Information
Our sweets and dishes may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, gluten, and gram flour (besan). If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us directly before ordering so we can provide the latest available allergen information. While we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment due to the nature of our kitchen.
9. Catering, Weddings & Event Bookings
Enquiries submitted through our reservation/enquiry form (including for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, religious events, and private parties) are treated as a request for a quote and are not a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed the event details, menu, pricing, and any deposit with you in writing. Any deposit, cancellation, or rescheduling terms will be confirmed with you individually at the time of booking, as these vary by event size and date.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
Because our products are freshly prepared, perishable food items, once an order has been prepared or dispatched it generally cannot be cancelled or returned unless the product is faulty, incorrect, or not as described, in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory order, please contact us within a reasonable time with details and, where possible, photographic evidence, so we can investigate and offer a replacement or refund as appropriate. For catering and event bookings, cancellation terms will be set out at the time of booking confirmation.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our Website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and the Maharaja Sweets name and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

- Images of our sweets, dishes, and catering setups are for illustrative purposes only, and the actual product may vary due to the handmade and seasonal nature of our food.

This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and nothing in it limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (see Section 13, Limitation of Liability).
13. Limitation of Liability
